Improved A level results

Many congratulations to all South Derbyshire pupils who received their ‘A’ Level results this week. I do hope you all succeeded in achieving the results you were hoping for, allowing you to be able to go on to the University or course of your choice.

Government Acts on Contaminated Blood

It is sad to say that during the 1970s and early 1980s some blood and blood products supplied by the NHS, mostly to haemophilia sufferers, were found to be contaminated with HIV and Hepatitis C.
