Heather is championing World Book Day today. Every year, World Book Day creates bespoke £1 books for children and young adults across the UK and Ireland, to promote the power of imagination and the importance of reading.
Heather recently visited Hartshorne CE Primary school and joined a school Assembly.

Heather welcomes the fact that Bereavement Benefits (Remedial) Order 2023 came into effect, today, 9th February 2023. This will mean for the first-time bereaved cohabitees with children will be able to access Bereavement Support Payment, and its predecessor, Widowed Parents Allowance.
