Today we said a heartfelt good by to Barry Gadson who had worked for the Council for over 30 years. Our Market stalls were never straighter and the Town Hall on the Delph never tidier than when Barry was in charge.
I was so proud that colleagues came and showed their respects outside the Council building when the cortege went passed and stopped for a few minutes and at the Delph too.
At Bretby Crematorium we heard that he felt he had his dream job.
He was a wonderful servant to South Derbyshire.
